We use local courier companies to deliver packages anywhere in your country at a fixed rate, with free delivery for orders of 3 products or more. We currently deliver in South Africa, USA and Australia. Customers can choose to get packages delivered at the nearest delivery station to their home. In addition to delivery stations being suitable for customers living in remote or hard-to-access areas, they are also convenient to those who might not be home on the day of delivery.

Ocean freight might take a bit longer, about 3 to 4 weeks, but considerably brings down prices as it eliminates all middle men from the sourcing process. Your package travels directly from the factory to your door and the freight rates are already factored into our pricing.

We started SEESworld - Social, Economic and Environmental Sustainability - 10 years ago with the idea of creating a new business system that would bring balance between commerce and community.

For the last few years we have been setting up in Asia and are now sourcing hard-to-find products to other countries at greatly reduced prices, resulting in Polar Star Shop. Due to the direct link that we establish between factories and customers, all middlemen and agent fees are eliminated, enabling us to offer all products at 20% lower than market rate.

We either trial and test products ourselves, or do a thorough review on manufacturers' credibility and quality standards. We also make sure that any problems pointed out by consumer reviews are addressed before making items available for sale on our site.
